Artists Arielle Austin and Kel Brown shine a light on the push and pull, joy, and affliction of creating within the world of Abstraction. Touching on the question, “Is Abstraction for us, too? “And why is it necessary for us?” Both artists bring their perspectives to what it means to be a Black artist creating in the non-representational realm.

Join us at the Capitol View Arts Gallery from Saturday, February 10th, thru March 15th, to learn more about the Black experience and to celebrate Black History Month.

Presented by Capitol View Arts. Funded by Austin Black Fund & City Of Austin Cultural Arts Department
